WE Awards

The 7th Annual Georgia WE Awards Luncheon
were held May 14, 2009
at Renaissance Waverly Hotel at the Galleria

The Atlanta Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) announced the 7th Annual We Awards which honored a select group of Women Entrepreneurs for their achievements in business and contributions to the community.

Seven Women Business Owners were honored for their contributions to the business community WE Awards incategories ranging from start-up to mature successful companies. Three Advocate Awards were presented to Companies and Individuals who supported and fostered the growth of women and women-owned businesses.

In 2002, NAWBO-Atlanta recognized the key role women-owned businesses play in the growth of the economy in Georgia and established the WE Awards (Women Entrepreneurs) to honor and acknowledge these women and their businesses. The 2009 award recipients joined the Honor Roll of women entrepreneurs who have been recognized by NAWBO-Atlanta.
