We are reserving a table for 10 NAWBO women or member guests who want to support economic empowerment programs for women and girls. Your 125.00 helps provide financial support to the following nonprofits:
9 to 5 Atlanta Working Women- Helps low wage women with job skills and leadership skills.
Friends of International Community Services- helps young refugee girls who have experienced horrific violence and who have little education to heal and learn.
ACCION- provides small business loans and financial education to low income self employed women in Atlanta.
In addition to these causes your dollars help domestic violence shelters, and A Future Not a Past Campaign (AFNAP) . AFNAP is NAWBO's selected 2009 and 2010 community issue which helps to stop th prostituting of girls and boys in Atlanta.
