When Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg's 2010, TED Talks: Sheryl Sandberg: Why Women Have Too Few Leaders, made a splash, she was encouraged to write a book with her observations and advice. Lean In was published earlier this year, has stirred up discussion and controversy among both Corporate and Small Business communities, nowhere stronger than among women in business. NAWBO has aligned nationally with Sandberg's LeanIn.org NPO offering structure and support for women to help other women. We will discuss key points from this book from cultural, generational, and business-type experiences with 8 women panelists, who will speak to the group then break into tabletop conversations for NAWBO members to participate sharing THEIR "Lean In" stories. Finish the book NOW, so you will be ready to Lean In with other Women Entrepreneurs in June.
